LEICESTER’S Championship Speedway clash with Newcastle has been put back to tomorrow with a 5.30pm start.
An early decision has been made after the rain which has already fallen and with more forecast throughout today.
Both clubs had discussions over the potential switch on Friday and agreement was quickly reached.
Watling JCB Lions co-promoter Stewart Dickson said: “We would like to thank Newcastle for their understanding and co-operation.
“By making an early decision it avoids too much inconvenience for people and we hope to see everyone back here tomorrow for a 5.30pm start for what should be an exciting meeting.”
